Desalination Project Talmei Yaffe

Due to the geography of the southern part of Israel, there are no sufficient local water sources in this area. Therefore, significant efforts are made to utilize every possible local water source, including desalinating brackish water found in wells all over the region. “Mekorot” company, the national leader, sought a sustainable solution to treat brackish water purification. The project included planning, construction, ordering, testing, and handing over the desalination plant to Mekorot with an output of 44,000 MKI, which was built in two phases. The first phase included designing and constructing a 22,000 cubic meter water desalination facility.
